President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov has conducted a digital working meeting with the Ashgabat Khyakim [Mayor] and Cabinet Deputy Chairman, responsible for the Turkmen capital to discuss the capital city’s further development, modernization of its infrastructure, as well as preparations for the upcoming important occasions, official state news agency Turkmenistan Today reported.

Ashgabat Khyakim R. Gandymov was the first to report to the nation’s leader on the state of affairs in the capital, and continuing comprehensive redevelopment efforts. The report also covered preparations for the 30th anniversary of the native country’s sacred independence, and ongoing steps to speed up the construction of facilities due to open officially to mark the glorious historic milestone, Turkmenistan today said.

The Khyakim also addressed the ongoing winter preparations and measures taken to keep the city’s utilities properly maintained to ensure they run smoothly and continuously.
