President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov held a working meeting with the hakyims [heads] of velayats [districts] on the digital system. The issues of implementation of large-scale transformation programs deployed in the country, as well as seasonal agricultural work and preparation for the celebration of the 30th anniversary of the independence of the Fatherland were brought up for discussion, official state news agency Turkmenistan Today reported.

Having announced the agenda of the meeting, the head of state first summoned the hyakim of the Ahal velayat and the hyakims of this region for direct communication.

Hyakim etrap Ak bugday Kh.Ashyrmyradov reported on the ongoing work on the care of cotton crops in order to obtain a high yield, in particular, inter-row processing, feeding with mineral fertilizers, growing watering and minting of plants, as well as preparation for sowing wheat for next year’s harvest, including plowing, leveling and irrigation of lands.

The head of the administration of Babadaikhan P. Ishanguliyev reported on the measures taken in the fields to obtain a bountiful harvest – on inter-row processing, feeding with mineral fertilizers and water for vegetation, minting cotton crops, as well as on the preparation of agricultural lands for sowing winter grains.
