On Wednesday, August 11, at a government meeting chaired by Prime Minister Askar Mamin, Minister of National Economy Asset Irgaliyev spoke about the results of the socio-economic development of Kazakhstan in January-July 2021, the ministry’s press service reported.

“In January-July of this year, the economy of Kazakhstan continued to recover at an accelerated pace and showed an increase of 2.7%. The real sector remains a factor in the sustainability of economic development. Its growth was 3.6%, ”Asset Irgaliyev said.

According to the results of the first half of the year, there is an acceleration of the dynamics in the service sector, there is a high growth in investments in the non-extractive sectors, as well as the preservation of a positive trade balance.

The head of the ministry stressed that the manufacturing industry maintains a steady growth trend. The production volume increased by 5.9%. In addition, business activity in the service sector rose to 2%.
