Representatives of Turkey who came to Moscow for negotiations, failed to agree to resume flights in full from June 2. One of the members of the Turkish delegation, Minister of Culture and Tourism of the country Mehmet Ersoy said that the Russian side positively assessed the proposal to return flights, but the Russian authorities asked to give them “a little time” to assess the situation with coronavirus in Turkey.
May 17 Moscow was visited by representatives of Turkey headed by the Minister of Culture and Tourism, Mehmet Ersoy. Also in the delegation were the representative of the President of Turkey Ibrahim Kalin and the Deputy Head of the Ministry of Health Tolgoi Tolunay.
On the eve of another Turkish official told reporters that the Russians will not be able to go to rest in Turkey until mid-July.
