Armenia is ready to normalise relations with Turkey without preconditions, Secretary of the Security Council of Armenia Armen Grigoryan said at a government briefing on Friday.
Grigoryan recalled that before and after the parliamentary elections in Armenia, it was said about the opening of an era of peace and stability in the region, and according to this logic, in his words, it is necessary to regulate relations with Turkey.
“This settlement should be gradual. We are convinced that one of the ways to settle these relations is to have a dialogue at the high and the highest levels,” he said.
The Secretary of the Security Council stated that the Armenian side has repeated many times that relations with Turkey should be settled without preconditions, since when they are put forward, it is difficult to make progress on any issue.
