Azerbaijan has not yet responded to Armenia’s proposals on the delimitation and demarcation of the state border between the two countries, RA Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said.
“As you know, Armenia proposed a mirror withdrawal of troops on the Soviet-era Armenian-Azerbaijani border, the transfer of protection of this border to a limited number of border guards and the implementation of international monitoring of the border. Azerbaijan has not yet given an official response to this proposal, according to information received from third countries, our proposal is unacceptable for Azerbaijan,” he said at a government meeting on Thursday.
However, according to the prime minister, Armenia has been and remains as flexible as possible in this regard and has proposed several formulas for the withdrawal of troops.
