A delegation led by Armenian Defence Minister Arshak Karapetyan left for the Russian Federation.
As reported by the press service of the RA Defence Ministry, the Armenian delegation in Nizhny Novgorod at the Mulino military training ground will take part in monitoring the active phase of the Zapad-2021 joint strategic exercises of Russia and Belarus.
Then, on September 15-16, the delegation headed by the Armenian Defence Minister will take part in the meetings of the CSTO statutory bodies (foreign ministers, the Council of Defence Ministers, the Committee of Secretaries of the Security Council), which will be held in Dushanbe, as well as the Collective Security Council.
Note that a joint meeting of the Council of Foreign Ministers, the Council of Defence Ministers and the Committee of Secretaries of Security Councils of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) member states will be held on September 15 in Dushanbe. As a result of the joint meeting, it is planned to adopt over 20 documents. The joint meeting will be chaired by Tajik Foreign Minister Sirojiddin Mukhriddin.
