The Armenian government is ready to begin the process of border demarcation and delimitation, and is waiting for positive signals from the Azerbaijani authorities. Secretary of the Security Council of Armenia Armen Grigoryan stated this after the meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers.
“We are ready to start the process of delimitation and demarcation, we are ready to discuss all the proposals of the working group and are waiting for positive signals from Azerbaijan. It seems that in September they made such a statement at the UN, but we are not moving forward on this issue,” TASS quoted Grigoryan as saying.
Grigoryan further stated that there is no clarity on the issue of Soviet maps, on the basis of which the process of demarcation and delimitation between Armenia and Azerbaijan will be launched.
