Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan and President of Kyrgyzstan Sadir Zhaparov at a meeting on Thursday discussed the prospects for deepening economic cooperation between the two countries both in a bilateral format and within the EAEU, the press service of the RA government reports.
“We must work towards the further development of interaction between our countries. Moreover, we are members of the Eurasian Economic Union, which opens up new opportunities,” Pashinyan said, stating with regret that the volume of mutual trade between Armenia and Kyrgyzstan is small.
At the same time, the Armenian Prime Minister and the President of Kyrgyzstan expressed satisfaction with the high level of political dialogue and confirmed their readiness to develop cooperation.
The parties agreed that it is necessary to give a new impetus to economic ties, taking into account the unrealised potential of trade and economic cooperation between the two countries.
