The Cabinet of Ministers has made structural changes to the Ministry of Agriculture, mainly to strengthen the activities of the Agency for Agrarian Services (AAS) under the ministry, Turan.az reported.

According to a government decree of 7 May, an Agrarian Training Centre was established under the AAS. The new centre was established on the basis of eight regional Centres of Agricultural Science and Innovation. The Centre for Animal Health and Veterinary Services has also been established under this agency.

It included the Republican Expedition for the Control of Epizootic and Zoonotic Diseases, the State Veterinary Administration on Railways and district (city) veterinary offices.
