Twenty insurance companies of Azerbaijan collected over 398 million manats in premiums in January-May, 10.1 percent up from the same period last year, the Central Bank said.

The payments made by insurance companies during the first five months amounted to 208.233 million manats, 48.6 percent more than a year earlier.
