Azerbaijan’s seaports increased shipment of goods by 2.1 percent year-on-year to 3.159 million tonnes in January-April, the State Statistics Committee said.

Transit cargo grew by 2.9 percent year-on-year. Transit cargo’s share in total shipments is 96.3 percent.

In 2020, seaports in Azerbaijan shipped 8.782 million tonnes of goods, up 6.5 percent from a year earlier.
