Azerbaijan’s positive trade balance was $5.095 billion in the first seven months of 2021, 57.7 percent up from the same period last year, the State Customs Office said.

The country’s trade turnover totalled $17.691 billion, 17.7 percent up from January-July 2020.

Exports equalled $11.393 billion, 24.8 percent up from January-July 2020, while imports stood at $6.298 billion, 6.7 percent up from the same period last year.

The country’s main exports were products of the oil and gas sector, while main imports were equipment and spare parts, food products and vehicles.
