Deputy Foreign Minister of Belarus Nikolai Borisevich met with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Iraq to the Russian Federation and the Republic of Belarus (concurrently) Abdulrahman Hamid Mohammed al-Hussaini. BelTA learned this from the press service of the Foreign Ministry.

The parties discussed the implementation of the agreements reached during political consultations between the Foreign Ministries of Belarus and Iraq in Baghdad in June 2021.

Special attention was paid to the preparation of the next meeting of the joint Belarusian-Iraqi commission on trade and economic cooperation, as well as the organization of visits to Belarus of heads of Iraqi ministries and companies to work out specific bilateral projects.
