Belarus energy signs MOU with Chinese firm
Belarusian energy company Belenergo and the China National Electric Engineering Co. (CNEEC) have signed a memorandum of understanding on cooperation in different spheres of mainly renewable energy sources, Belta news agency reported.
It said online talks between the two sides had produced an agreement on working together on energy storage technologies, storage units to cover peak demand in Belarus and the operation and maintenance of car charging stations.
The agreement also covered promotion of Belarusian electrical goods on the Chinese markets.
CNEED is known in Belarus as the general contractor of the Vitebsk hydropower plant construction plant with a capacity of 40 MW.
