The Government of Kazakhstan presented a program to increase the income of the population, within which by 2025 it is planned to create more than 2 million jobs, develop small and medium-sized businesses around 50 large enterprises, and ensure full import substitution of food products. The country does not intend to depend on imports in the manufacturing industry either.
“SME belts will be created around 50 large enterprises, which will increase the income from entrepreneurial activity for SMEs. For example, only one glass factory in the Kyzylorda region will create a belt of SMEs around itself from eight mini-factories for the production of fiberglass, automotive glass, glass souvenirs, glass containers, glassware, glass wool, ultra-thin glasses for smartphones,” – said on Thursday during a briefing in the service Central Communications Deputy Prime Minister Yeraly Tugzhanov.
He noted that a similar approach will be applied to existing enterprises and new projects.
