Capital investment in Azerbaijan’s economy fall 11.2% yr/yr in January-November-Statistics Committee
Capital investment in Azerbaijan’s economy decreased by 11.2 percent year-on-year to 11.708 billion manats ($6.9 billion) in January-November of 2021, the State Statistics Committee said.
Investments decreased by 8.7 percent in the oil and gas sector and by 12.9 percent in the non-oil sector.
Over 66 percent of total investments had been used for production purposes, while the rest was used for construction. Around 67 percent of total investments were domestic funds, around 33 percent – foreign direct investments.
