The Jogorku Kenesh’s profile committee on budget and finance on September 20 approved the government’s proposal to issue loans to entrepreneurs whose businesses suffered during the Kyrgyz-Tajik border conflict on April 28-30.
At a meeting of the committee, Eldiyar Doolbekov, deputy director of the State Agency for the Management of Budgetary Credits, noted that 76 businessmen were injured in Batken at that time. The state will give everyone a loan of 200 thousand soms as support.
“The first year the interest rate on the loan will be 0.1%. This is the lowest rate. Further already at the rate of the bank. In total, the loan is issued for three years,” he said.
According to the State Agency, entrepreneurs need only 15.2 million soms to issue a soft loan. These funds are planned to be taken from the grant funds of China.
