Dmitry Polyansky, First Deputy Permanent Representative of the Russian Federation to the UN, said that Western countries did not react to eyewitnesses’ statements about the crimes of nationalists in Ukraine, News.ru reported, citing RIA Novosti reports.
They testified at an informal meeting of the UN Security Council.
According to News.ru, Polyansky noted that such a reaction from Western delegations left Russian diplomats with a sickening feeling.
“The meeting of the Security Council on “Formula Arria” on the tragedy in Odessa and other crimes of nationalists in Ukraine left a heavy feeling, close to nausea. Even for us, diplomats, accustomed to double standards and the hypocrisy of our Western colleagues, it was not easy to calm down,” the deputy representative said.
