Dinara Ruslan will join UNICEF Girls in Science (STEM) Goodwill Ambassador Assel Sartbayeva and become a supporter of this program. This was announced today, April 28, by UNICEF in Kyrgyzstan.
Dinara Ruslan is the founder and CEO of the IT company Codify, the Academy of Programming and Design and CodifyLab, which develops IT products for companies in Singapore, Australia and Europe. She is also a board member of the Kyrgyz Software and Services Developers Association and a board member of the Creative Industries Association.
“Poverty, gender discrimination, gender stereotyping and digital illiteracy are preventing girls and women from using digital technologies, thereby leaving us behind as the global workforce increasingly uses digital tools and other technologies. As a woman leader, I pay special attention to the inclusion of women in IT so that we, women and girls, are not excluded from this process,” said Dinara Ruslan, one of the first women to study and develop her own career in ICT in Kyrgyzstan.
