Two meetings of the Constitutional Commission, five meetings of the editorial group were held, where the comments made by the members of the commission were considered in detail. that the Constitutional Commission proposes to change 53 articles of the Constitution, introduce 14 new articles and delete 2 articles, “said Petr Miklashevich.
The Constitutional Commission proposes to maintain the presidential form of government. To carry out a redistribution of powers between the President, parliament and government, based on constitutional functions, so that all government bodies act effectively, in close cooperation, and solve the quality problems facing the country.
“A new stage is coming in public administration, so that all other government bodies can effectively use their powers,” the CC chairman noted. “It is proposed to consolidate and establish the constitutional status of the All-Belarusian People’s Assembly – this is a new body in the system of state power. on the other hand, the All-Belarusian People’s Assembly did not violate the existing system of power, but was a stabilizing body for the stability of the entire system of state power.
It is also proposed to concretize the constitutional foundations of the electoral system. “To raise the constitutional status of the Central Election Commission.
