Many mines and streamers left by the Russian occupiers are found in the liberated city of Irpen in the Kyiv region. Therefore, it is still dangerous to return there, authorities warn.

The adviser to the Minister of Internal Affairs Vadim Denisenko told about it on air of a telethon.

“We find a lot of mines, streamers, mines and even corpses. So it’s a great request to all those who want to return to their homes to see what’s there – wait a minute. Then it will be officially said that you can enter the city,” he said.

Denisenko said that there are still many people in Irpen who refuse to leave, and the police are looking for them in the basements. They try to talk to them in order to take them to a safe place.
