Georgia inflation up 11.8% yr/yr in March-Statistics Office
Consumer prices in Georgia were up 2.5 percent in March from a month earlier after rising 0.9 percent in February, the State Statistics Office said.
Annual inflation in March was 11.8 percent, down from 13.7 percent in February.
Georgia’s central bank targets annual inflation at 3 percent in 2022, but says that it will start to decline gradually from the spring and will approach the target by the end of the year.
