Georgia inflation up 13.9% yr/yr in January-Statistics Office
Consumer prices in Georgia were up 1.1 percent in January from a month earlier after rising 0.3 percent in December last year, the State Statistics Office said.
Annual inflation in January was 13.9 percent, unchanged from December last year.
Georgia’s central bank targets annual inflation at 3 percent in 2022, but says that it will start to decline gradually from the spring and will approach the target by the end of the year.
