Georgia inflation up 12.8% year-on-year in October-Statistics Office
Consumer prices in Georgia were up 1.3 percent in October from a month earlier after rising 0.2 percent in September this year and in comparison with 0.8 percent inflation in October 2020, the State Statistics Office said.
Annual inflation in October was 12.8 percent, up from 12.3 percent in September this year and up from 3.8 percent in October 2020.
Georgia’s National Bank targets annual inflation at 3 percent but says that the country will exceed the target this year.
