The security challenges and the current political and economic situation in the Black Sea region were discussed at the meetings of the committees of the Euronest Parliamentary Assembly on Tuesday in Yerevan, Armenia with the participation of the Permanent Delegation of the Parliament of Georgia.
At the Committee on Political Affairs, Human Rights and Democracy a resolution document focusing on the importance of promoting good governance in the public institutions of the Eastern Partnership countries was reviewed, the Parliament of Georgia announced.
The need for European Union’s support in the reform process for the Eastern Partnership states – Georgia, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Moldova, and Ukraine – was also in discussion at the session.
