Georgia’s gross external debt rises to $20.6 bln in first quarter-National Bank
Georgia’s gross external debt rose by $22.6 million in the first quarter of 2021 and amounted to $20.6 billion, the National Bank said.
The debt accounted for 132.9 percent of the country’s annual gross domestic product.
The debt increase was due to transactions ($467.4 million) and price changes ($15.9 million).
