The invaders kidnapped Kherson deputy, director of the drama theatre and pro-Ukrainian activist Alexander Kniga in the village of Oleshki, Kherson region.
This is stated in the Telegram of the Verkhovna Rada.
This was preceded by illegal searches of Russians in the theater.
The racists continue to terrorize the population of the occupied territories. Unable to establish their power, they resort to the arrest of famous and influential people in the region and the country.
Since the beginning of March, the occupiers have been temporarily controlling Kherson and its environs. Since then, locals have been constantly attending pro-Ukrainian rallies.
Thanks to strong resistance from civil society, the Russians failed a propaganda campaign in recognition of the People’s Republic of China.
