Kazakhstan inflation up 7.2% year-on-year in May -Statistics Committee
Consumer prices in Kazakhstan rose by 7.2 percent year-on-year in May after rising 7.1 percent in April, Statistics Committee said.
Monthly inflation in May was 0.7 percent, down from 0.85 percent in April and up from 0.5 percent in May 2020.
Kazakhstan’s National Bank projects annual inflation in a range of 4-6 percent in 2021.
