Consumer prices in Kazakhstan rose by 8.9 percent year-on-year in September after rising 8.7 percent in August, Statistics Committee said.

Monthly inflation in September was 0.4 percent, down from 0.5 percent in August. In January-September annual inflation was 6.2 percent.

Kazakhstan’s National Bank projects annual inflation in a range of 4-6 percent in 2021.
