Consumer prices in Kazakhstan rose by 8.9 percent year-on-year in October after rising 8.9 percent in September, Statistics Committee said.

Monthly inflation in October was 0.7 percent, up from 0.4 percent in September. In January-October annual inflation was 7.0 percent.

Kazakhstan’s National Bank projects annual inflation in a range of 4-6 percent in 2021.
