Kyrgyzstan announced the strengthening of border borders, Total.kz reported citing 24.kg reports.

Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan  Ulukbek Maripov said that “a decision has been made to completely stop traffic across the state border with the Republic of Tajikistan until problematic issues are resolved.”

He said this during a meeting with residents of the border villages of the Chon-Alai region of the Osh region of the Kyrgyz Republic.

“The border issue is one of the most important for us today. Every effort is being made to resolve this issue. We will definitely solve it … Together with the solution of the issues of delimitation and demarcation of the border, we set a goal – to strengthen our borders. For this, we create all the necessary conditions for our border guards. Local residents also play a key role in strengthening the state border. Therefore, I urge you to be patient and understanding. Our main goal is to improve the life of ordinary people, and we will achieve everything that is necessary for this step by step and together, ”the head of government addressed the audience.”
