Lawyers of the QANTAR Legal Support Center Public Foundation at a press conference on Thursday turned to Kassym-Jomart Tokayev with a request to ensure monthly public reporting by law enforcement agencies on the progress and results of the investigation of each criminal case on the January events, to conduct a full, fair and prompt investigation of all facts torture, injuries and deaths, as well as to involve independent international experts in the investigation of all criminal cases. The legal support center believes that Kazakh law enforcement agencies have no experience in investigating such events.
