Lithuania has extended the state of emergency on the border with Belarus until January 14, according to the website of the Lithuanian Seimas.
Earlier, the proposal to extend the state of emergency was made by the government. All 102 parliamentarians unanimously voted for the resolution at the meeting today. It is assumed that the state of emergency will operate in all sections of the border between Lithuania and Belarus and in territories five kilometers deep from the border.
In addition, the state of emergency is being extended in places of temporary accommodation of foreigners.
