Presidents of Belarus and Russia Alexander Lukashenko and Vladimir Putin met in Blagoveshchensk and are heading to the Vostochny Cosmodrome in the Amur Region. It is planned that the heads of state will arrive at the cosmodrome in one helicopter, BelTA has learned.
The visit to the cosmodrome is timed to coincide with Cosmonautics Day, which is celebrated on April 12. The heads of state will get acquainted with the construction of the launch space complex, communicate with pilot-cosmonauts and employees of the cosmodrome.
At the cosmodrome, the presidents will discuss topical issues in the development of bilateral relations, joint measures to counter sanctions pressure from the collective West, the situation in the region and the world, and events in Ukraine in a one-on-one format.
