The President of Belarus does not rule out the possibility of placing Russian nuclear weapons in Belarus. He stated this in an interview with Dmitry Kiselev , Director General of the Russia Segodnya international news agency , BelTA has learned.
The head of state was asked about the recent statement by NATO Secretary General Jens Soltenberg on the possibility of deploying nuclear weapons in Eastern Europe, in particular in Poland.
“Yes. Then I will offer Putin to return nuclear weapons to Belarus,” the head of state said.
“What kind of nuclear weapon?” – Dmitry Kiselev specified.
