Presidents of Belarus and Russia Alexander Lukashenko and Vladimir Putin will meet on September 9 in Moscow. The date was agreed by the heads of state during a telephone conversation today. BelTA learned this from the press service of the President of Belarus.
During the meeting, the presidents will once again discuss the union programs prepared by the governments of the two countries, as well as other topical issues on the bilateral agenda and international issues.
As BelTA was informed, Alexander Lukashenko had a number of telephone conversations on the morning of August 30. Their main topic was the situation in Afghanistan. “Consultations on the issues that have been submitted to the CSTO meeting in Dushanbe. Plus the development of a common position on Afghanistan,” the press service noted.
First of all, this topic was discussed in detail with the President of Tajikistan, then a conversation with the President of Russia took place.
