It is necessary to actively create new jobs in the satellite cities of Minsk. President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko said this today, receiving a report from Chairman of the Minsk Regional Executive Committee Alexander Turchin, BelTA has learned.
The head of state recalled that satellite cities are developing around Minsk: Dzerzhinsk, Zaslavl, Logoisk, Rudensk, Smolevichi and Fanipol. It is easy to get to the capital from these settlements, and they are actively being built up. At the same time, jobs are being created in these cities, the President noted.
Alexander Lukashenko announced plans to visit Dzerzhinsk in the spring. “This should be a pilot project in the region, especially around Minsk. We need to put this town in order and, if necessary, create additional jobs,” he stressed.
