On November 10, information appeared that Russian long-range Tu-22m3 bombers were flying over Belarus. It turned out they were patrolling the airspace. Moreover, now they will fly even more often.
“On November 10, two long-range Tu-22m3 bombers of the Russian Aerospace Forces performed patrols in the airspace of the Republic of Belarus. During the flight of the aircraft, the issues of interaction with ground control points of the armed forces of Russia and the Republic of Belarus were worked out, ”the Russian Defense Ministry said.
They also added that Russian aircraft took part in checking the actions of combat crews, “performing the tasks of combat duty for air defence in the Unified Regional Air Defence System of the Union State,” RIA Novosti reports.
The message noted that after the Tu-22m3 they returned to the airfield based on the territory of Russia.
