Armenian and Russian officials and experts are discussing a project that calls for creation of a copper casting cluster in Armenia, Armenian Minister of Economy Vahan Kerobyan said in parliament today.
According to him, Armenia and Russia are currently drafting a bilateral economic agenda, which includes large investment programs.
He said the discussions will soon shift to creating a roadmap, including creation of a copper casting cluster, which is estimated to cost from $500 million to $3 billion. Kerobyan explained that the cost depends on whether a new nuclear power plant will be included in the cluster or not and whether the cluster will really have other functions besides copper vesting.
