In Dushanbe, in 2021, compared with a year earlier, there were 311 fewer crimes or 8.03%, it was noted on January 5 at the final meeting of the capital’s Office of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Tajikistan, the website of the Ministry of Internal Affairs reports.

At the meeting, which was held under the leadership of Lieutenant General Sharif Nazarzod, in particular, it was noted that the number of grave crimes decreased by 15.8%, robberies – by 33.3%, robberies – by 10.5%, thefts – by 7. 24%, hooliganism – 13.8%, fraud – 4.32%.

During the reporting year, juvenile delinquency also decreased by 7% and amounted to 110 facts.

Of the total number of crimes committed, 32 offenders were underage residents of Dushanbe, and the remaining 78 were from other regions of the country.
