The Russian government has approved 42 strategic development initiatives over the next 10 years, which are designed to improve the quality of life of people and make the Russian economy more modern and flexible. The document was signed by Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin. The initiatives will be implemented in the form of federal projects.
They are divided into six key areas: social sphere, construction, ecology, digital transformation, technological breakthrough and the state for citizens. For each of them, specific results are spelled out that must be achieved by 2024 and 2030.
The implementation of the initiatives until 2024 will require 4.6 trillion rubles. Funds for these purposes will be taken from the federal budget and the National Welfare Fund, and it is also planned to attract investors’ money.
“Projects of the social block – there are ten of them in total – are focused on preserving people’s health, creating opportunities for self-realization and personal growth. On the “Construction” track – it includes seven initiatives – the main emphasis is placed on updating the infrastructure and creating a comfortable living environment”, –it says in the document.
It is noted that all these initiatives are needed to more effectively achieve the national goals, which were determined by the head of state Vladimir Putin for the next 10 years, as well as to solve the tasks from the message to the Federal Assembly of the President of Russia.
