The Russian authorities should work to make it as easy as possible for citizens to build private houses, including obtaining plots and connecting to utility networks. This was stated by Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Mikhail Mishustin at a meeting on the implementation and results of initiatives for the country’s socio-economic development until 2030.

He suggested starting the discussion with the topic of construction. “In this area, it is necessary to simplify the construction of a personal home for citizens as much as possible. There should be no difficulties in obtaining a land plot, with connecting to utility networks. And mortgage products should become more affordable,” the head of the Cabinet emphasized.
