By 2025, it is planned to attract about 13 trillion tenge of private investment to four regions.
More than 15 trillion tenge is needed to finance four comprehensive plans for the development of the western regions, Minister of National Economy Alibek Kuantirov said at a government meeting, Total.kz reports.
“New comprehensive development plans for the Aktobe and West Kazakhstan regions for 2022–2025 have been developed, and the existing comprehensive development plans for Atyrau and Mangystau regions for 2021–2025 have been updated. The total amount of funding for the four comprehensive plans for the development of the western regions is 15.3 trillion tenge, including 1.7 trillion tenge from the republican budget,” Kuantirov said.
He added that the ministry, together with central government agencies, akimats, had selected projects with a high potential for direct and indirect multiplier effects on the socio-economic development of the regions and the creation of permanent jobs.
