An additional 441 billion tenge will be allocated in the 2022 budget to increase the combat readiness and equipment of law enforcement agencies and emergency response agencies. Of these, 4.1 billion tenge will be directed to eliminate the consequences of the January events, said on Thursday during the presentation of amendments to the draft republican budget in the Mazhilis, Vice Minister of Finance Tatyana Savelyeva.
“Improving the combat readiness and equipment of law enforcement agencies and emergency response agencies. As part of the refinement of the budget for increasing the combat readiness and equipment of law enforcement agencies, an additional 441 billion tenge is provided. These expenses will be used to eliminate the consequences of the January events and pay compensation for a total of 4.1 billion tenge, to repair and restore damaged equipment, buildings, as well as to restore the costs of financial assistance provided. At present, the necessary allowances and compensation have already been paid to the families of the deceased employees. In addition, material and housing assistance is provided by the regions,” Savelyeva said.
