The draft budget was formed based on the forecast parameters of the city’s development and the forecast of socio-economic development.
The deputies of the maslikhat of Almaty of the VII convocation supported and at the next XIII session approved the city’s budget for 2022. The total amount was 1 trillion 40 billion tenge, Total.kz reports.
The draft budget for the next year, according to the press service of the city maslikhat, was presented to the deputies by the akim of Almaty Bakytzhan Sagintayev.
Thus, the education sector accounts for 197.3 billion tenge. The funds are intended for the maintenance of 204 schools, 15 boarding schools, 48 colleges with a total of 310 thousand students. In addition, starting next year, it is planned to return the previously privatized buildings of educational facilities to communal ownership. Thanks to this, only in Auezov and Bostandyk districts it is planned to reduce the shortage of student places.
