Mott MacDonald, the London-based engineering consulting firm, will inspect all seven of the hydroelectric dams of the Dnipro Cascade, UBN reported.

The company will check the safety of the Soviet-era locks and dams and the viability of Ukryhdroenergo’s multi-year, $120 million rehabilitation plan, reports the press service of the state hydroelectric company.

Mott MacDonald counts as a corporate ancestor of a water engineering consultancy that worked on Egypt’s Aswan Dam.
