The meeting between Russian President Vladimir Putin and Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan will be held on October 12 in Moscow. The press secretary of the Russian leader Dmitry Peskov announced its preparation, TASS reports.
“Yes. Such a meeting is being prepared”, – he said in response to a related question.
In 2021, Putin and Pashinyan have already held three personal meetings. The last time they communicated in September in the format of a videoconference at a session of the Collective Security Council of the Collective Security Treaty Organization. The Russian leader at this time was undergoing isolation due to cases of coronavirus in his environment.
Prior to that, Putin met with Pashinyan on July 7 after the parliamentary elections in Armenia.
