In Kazakhstan, projects of oil and gas chemistry with a total value of $ 12 billion will be implemented. This was stated by the Minister of Energy of the Republic of Kazakhstan Nurlan Nogayev during his speech at the Tatarstan Oil and Gas Chemical Forum, Kazinform reports with reference to the press service of the Ministry of Energy of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

As part of his welcoming speech at the opening of the forum in the city of Kazan, the Minister of Energy of the Republic of Kazakhstan noted that between Kazakhstan and the Russian Federation there is a positive dynamics of development in one of the key sectors of the economy – the petrochemical industry.

“This is confirmed by the signing this year between our largest oil and gas companies KazMunayGas JSC and PJSC Tatneft of the Agreement on the basic terms of interaction for the production of butadiene and its derivatives,” Nurlan Nogayev said.
