During a press conference, Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan Yeraly Tugzhanov announced the timing of the purchase and delivery of the Pfizer vaccine. This was reported by the correspondent of the Kapital.kz business information center.
“As of today, Kazakhstan has provided access to three vaccines against coronavirus. In addition, on the instructions of the head of state, Pfizer is expected to be delivered in the fourth quarter of this year. At the same time, we will support the domestic vaccine, which is not inferior in efficiency to foreign analogues,” he said.
Eraly Tugzhanov also noted that 650 thousand doses of QazVac vaccine were produced last month, and 750 thousand doses are expected to be delivered this month.
